Open the heart, motivate and ground your energy – not just for inspiration but for success.

Empower your feminine energy with our Goddess Blend Room Spray

A magical blend of Yuzu, Mandarin, Rose, De Mai, Vetiver and Frankincense oils to help open the heart, motivate and ground your energy for inspiration and success throughout your day.

Many mentors and role models today are speaking of “opening our hearts”, “showing up real and authentic”, and “being transparent.”  What a refreshing dialogue this is in the ever-changing world we live in.

A board on Pinterest shared the following: “Feminine Energy – It’s what you feel when you are at rest, after a massage. When you feel soft. When you play and dance like no one is watching. When you feel radiant and somehow attract all attention to you, you know that feeling? That’s the feminine coming through you…”   author unknown

When is the last time you played?
When is the last time you danced?
Have you ever felt radiant?

Yuzu, Mandarin, Rose, Vetiver – is a magical blend.  Let’s break that down a bit!

Yuzu is the Japanese cousin of lemon!
Mandarin – The citrus fruit.
Rose – the flower of all flowers and love.
Vetiver, an oil obtained from the root of an exotic grass, evokes earthy, leathery and smoky tones.
Vetiver’s scent has been described as fresh cut grass but with warmer and richer undertones.

Now take all the above and add in Frankincense’s ability to calm and soothe emotions and you have an amazing winning combination.  It deepens the breath, helping you take stock of a stressful situation and grounds you. Part of its ability to relax the breath is also useful for respiratory conditions, and it can help soothe coughs and sinus-related discomfort.

Why use a room spray?

The instantaneous results of course!

With this product you do not have to wait for the candle to burn to the wax, you do not have to wait for the water in the diffuser to hit the oil, you do not have to shower to apply… You merely spray and the results are there.

The results are there not just for you but for everyone sharing the space with you…  Impactful.

Imagine a room spray not filled with chemicals and potentially harmful products – but a room spray that is good for you both in smell and energetic properties.

How long will the 2 oz spray last?

We did a bit of research and found that the average is – “a 2 oz bottle can provide approximately 300 to 360 sprays. If you apply 2-3 sprays per use, it could last you around 4 to 6 months with daily use.”

Order one today for your home and offices.

Empower yourself – and impact those in your space Winning combinations.

September is here!  Some of us may be having thoughts of the Fall Season that is heading our way.

Some may be dreaming of pumpkin spice and their first latte, holiday gatherings, and cooler temperatures.

However, most when they think of the Fall Season, they think of leaves turning brilliant colors, covering to the ground in a blanket of color and those strolls in nature and the crunching of leaves.

September also brings about our Fall Essences.

Sandalwood Teak Essence is our featured Essence of the month!

The name says it all.  It makes you think of trees, nature, and woodsy essences.  This is a blend of Teakwood and Sandalwood.  This calming blend of teak and sandalwood is a grounding blend.

Do you meditate?  Many meditate and many strive to find that meditative ‘state’ as often as they can.  Craving that calm, peaceful, few moments can make the world of difference for us during our day.

We ask – “Do you meditate?” because often Sandalwood Oil is commonly used in meditation practices.  It is known for its calming properties and is an oil that has been noted to quiet the central nervous system.

Teakwood – We asked Google how one could describe this smell to those who have not experienced it, and we love the answer we received.

“Teakwood Fragrance Oil: The smell of the log cabin where you
camped for a long weekend.”  *Google Resource.

Calm and grounding.

On our website under the “About Us” section is something that was written many years ago.

“My aromatherapy and body products were created to open and heal the body’s energy centers.”
Nicholas Cappele, Alchemist

This has never changed.  This is our why.

Sandalwood Teak Essence = Calming and Grounding.  This blend as we go into Fall and what some may experience as a busy season with holidays, gatherings, year-end goals to meet can be a great tool to use to assist you.  A blend to ‘take you away’ – meditative moments, grounding moments.

H2E Aromatherapy offers a variety of products that contain the Sandalwood Teak essence:

Body Oil Roll-On

Shampoo/Conditioner

Candles

Body Lotion

You may take advantage of our September savings of 20% off of the Sandalwood Teak Essence by entering coupon code: sandalwood

Our home base lab is in Arizona and if you know anything about our climate here, we tend to love misters (and we are not referring to the gender role).  We seek out restaurants and patios equipped with misting options, we invest in placing misters in our backyards and home outdoor areas.  Sitting in the mist – is in fact so refreshing, soothing, cooling, and comes with a sense of Zen in our summer months.

Our August featured product (and one you can save on as a result) is a MIST!

This one has more benefits than just being refreshing, soothing, cooling and coming with a sense of ZEN!

CBD Hydrating Facial Mist!  Hydrates, firms and tones the skin and helps with regeneration.

This is a custom blend of ours.  CUSTOM – Tailor-made, specially made, special.

We created this blend based on our experience and knowledge with plant-based essential oils.  We created this blend based on a need as we were routinely asked for in this desert environment;  for something that would hydrate, firm and tone naturally.

You may be asking why we added CBD.

CBD hemp oil has some amazing properties and studies around it.  It is documented to be an antioxidant, aids with inflammation and helps with pain.  All those benefits combined ensure CBD Hemp Oil as a great addition to our Mist!

Let’s look at some of the other ingredients in our mist.

Carrot seed – is a bacteria fighter, anti-inflammatory topical nutrient. Perfect for the skin!

Frankincense is a NATURAL hygiene product.  It is known to be an anti-aging, wrinkle fighter.  It also has been known to help with scars, wounds, and acne.  SKIN, SKIN, and SKIN!

The use of green coffee oil can thoroughly hydrate the skin whilst having deep moisturising effects.

Geranium is a natural glow booster and aids with the skin’s overall health.

Are you starting to see why we placed all these items together in one custom blend?

Retinol is all about aiding in improving our skin texture, evening out our skin tone and approving the overall appearance of our skin.

Lemon – it is known to help reduce the size of your pores.  This helps make your skin look clearer, fresher and smooth.

CBD Hydrating Facial Mist!  We know you’ll enjoy using and gifting this product to your friends just as much as those of us in Arizona enjoy our patio misters in the summer heat.

Save this month – give it a try and let us know your thoughts.

Summertime has you thinking about the beach?

If you are a zodiac follower, July holds space for both Cancer and Leo and of course their elements are water and fire.  There is nothing that says beach and summer more than those two combined.  The ripple of waves, the crackle of a nice fire in the evenings.  We know you get the picture.  The beach holds a special place for so many of us!

Did you know we have a Beach Blend available in our Exfoliating Soap, Soap Dish Set, Body Lotion, Shampoo, Conditioner, Room Spray, Boxed Eco Soy Candles, Gift Bag, Small Gift Basket and our Large Gift Baskets.

We asked if you were using botanicals in your health and wellness — when you see the word botanicals what comes to mind as a definition for you?

Most think plants – that would be correct!   Let us share this definition from Webmd:

“Botanicals are derived from plants. Specifically, in the health and wellness field, this term refers to plants or parts of plants with medicinal value or health benefits. Botanicals are modified into botanical preparations, botanical drugs, and essential oils.”

Botanicals are plants with medicinal value or health benefits!

HEALTH BENEFITS!  Your health can benefit from the use of botanicals.  We firmly believe in the use of botanicals and other natural products for our health and wellness.

Just what does our Beach Blend Essence contain?   It contains a blend of Amber Vanilla, Cardamom Seed, and Clove Leaf Oils.  This combination carries with it a hint of mystery and intrigue!

Amber Vanilla scent melts away stresses of the world!  Makes sense that it is part of our beach blend.   We all tend to want to go to the beach for this very reason.  Its scent is second to none.

Cardamom Seed is known to be a warm, spicy and yet sweet aroma.  It’s a natural deodorizer as well!  It carries an atmosphere of calm with it and has so many other great benefits for our respiratory systems.

Clove leaf oil has a variety of benefits including having an antimicrobial (helps kill bacteria). Clove is known to be a pain relief for tooth pain and muscle aches, digestive help and respiratory relief.

Reading this combination of ingredients, do you see why we have put them together to create our “Beach Blend Essence”?

If you are ready to start using botanicals for your health and wellness – we have the product line for you!  Check out our Botanic Collection and find the product that you are looking for with the Beach Blend Essence.

The renewed energy!  The growth energy!  The change in weather – brings us out and interacting more.  What a great time of the year!  Moods are lifted.  Kindness is elevated.  It’s a great time to be out and in our communities!  It’s a great time to support and feel the support.  “We get what we give.”  We have heard it time and again – what a great season to create a positive ripple effect and feel the ‘karma’ coming back to us.

Have you ever Googled the words Goddess and Mancave?

Let me save you the trouble…

Goddess the first thing that pops up on my web browser is the definition for the word from the Oxford Dictionary!   Goddess:  A female deity, a woman who is adored, especially for her beauty.

Mancave the first thing that pops up is a list of what others may be asking regarding this word!  The definition is NOT the first to pop up.
Here is the list of items others have asked for around this word:

People also ask:
What is considered a man cave?
Why is it called man cave?
What is the meaning of man cave?
What is the point of a man cave?
What makes a man cave a man cave?
What’s the opposite of man cave?

I did click on ‘What is the meaning of man cave?’ and was given the following definition from the Webster Dictionary:  a room or space (as in a basement) designed according to the taste of the man of the house to be used as his personal area for hobbies and leisure activities.

Side note:
You can search either of these words on our website
www.H2EDesignstore.com
and find Goddess Blend and Mancave Blend products!

We are honoring these words and our products centered around them this month – February 2024.

Why?  It felt the right thing to do seeing as this is the month, we all acknowledge and possibly celebrate Valentines Day!

We truly think every day we should celebrate the Goddess side of the ladies!  What a powerful thing it would be to honor those we encounter and pay credit to her ‘power’ on days she may not feel powerful.  The definition is on point, in our opinion, when it states, “a woman who is adored, especially for her beauty”.  Note it does not state physical – before the word beauty.  That part is what we loved the most!  It just said beauty!  Oh, the many things that can be defined as beautiful in another beyond the physical appearance.

We must wonder how many males get right involved with the decorating of a home.  Do we care what throw pillows are on the couch?  Do we acknowledge the tint of the paint on the wall?  Do we pick out the carpet carefully, so it blends in with the wall décor?

The mancave definition is neat!  A space designed according to the man’s taste!  Designed not just decorated!  Interesting, isn’t it?  Is the TV wall mounted?  Are there Lounge chairs or a nice and firm couch for posture reasons?  Do you have surround sound, and more bass in the blend?  Often some of these things are just organically placed without much thought for ALL the individuals in the home.  Carving out a space – DESIGNED according to YOUR taste as a personal area – how empowering!  What would you do differently if you had this said space JUST for you?

Side note:
Use the code Valentine at checkout and receive 20% off any of the
Goddess or Mancave Blends.

We think these words blend to both sexes in our world.  We all have a lot of Goddess/Deity in us!   We all need a space where we can spread our wings and our tastes out just for us!   It is our hope you honor you and celebrate YOU – not just in February the month of Valentines Day and LOVE – Love yourself and celebrate you every day.

Have you ever looked up the meaning of a word and as a result searched various dictionary versions to see if it varies?   Or have you ever looked up the meaning of a word and read the dictionary definition and realized maybe you did not know what that word truly meant, or you have not used it properly all your life long?

Interestingly, enough – the word clarity is one of the few words researched that has such a consistent meaning no matter what dictionary you direct your attention towards.

Webster, Cambridge, Dictionary.com, Collins, Oxford – all share the same definition:  The state or quality of being clear in outline or sound, the quality of being easily understood, the quality of being expressed clearly, the quality of being clear and easy to understand.

Have you ever asked someone to please ‘Clarify’ what they are saying?

People who ask for clarification are just amazing people!   Why?  Because they are truly seeking to understand what is being shared and expressed.  If you have found yourself uncomfortable asking for clarification – let this, be a turning point in that discomfort!  You merely want to ensure you understand and that is a beautiful thing in a world that is open to so many different opinions and perceptions.

Has someone ever asked you to clarify what you are stating?

It can feel a bit awkward, can’t it?   Here you are expressing, sharing, communicating and you are making perfect sense in your mind to what you are speaking, and the one listening is asking you to be clearer, to clarify and to provide clarity!  In these situations, it’s easy to wonder how we could have shared it better, how could we have made it easier for them to understand.  Self-doubt can creep in, and we wonder are we truly making sense?  Are we coming across with clarity?

We have an oil called Clarity!

If you are here reading this, you most likely believe in essential oils and their amazing properties to assist us in a variety of ways!   If you want more information on essential oils and their health benefits skip over to our blog found here:  https://h2edesignstore.com/essential-oil-uses-and-health-benefits/   Our oil blend can assist with clarity with 3 steps!

Our blend has Frankincense and Myrrh.

It’s no mistake these are tied to the 3 wisemen!   These are designed to open the crown and your intuitive energy!   Being open to communicate is so important and following those intuitions can be powerful when having to convey messages and be clear!

Our blend has clove.

Clove is powerful and this oil provides clarity!

Our blend has lemon and peppermint oils

These oils are known to motivate, bring fresh energy stir up some new ideas with that fresh energy.

Webster Dictionary:

Clarity:  The Quality of being easily understood.

The state of having a full, detailed, and orderly mental grasp of something.

The quality of being easily seen or heard.

We have an oil for that!

CBD is gaining more and more time in the limelight, and for a good reason! Standing for cannabidiol, CBD is an active ingredient found in cannabis, but it is derived from the hemp plant. Unlike cannabis, though, CBD does not cause a high and is not addictive; it only provides healing benefits, which is what makes it so appealing.

Is CBD legal?

All 50 states have laws that legalize CBD, but the number of restrictions can vary from state to state.

The 2018 Farm Bill made hemp legal in the United States, which is what CBD is derived from. With this bill, CBD is legal when it comes from hemp, not marijuana.

Hemp and marijuana plants are of the same species, and both contain CBD, but the difference between these two plants lies in their concentrations of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This is a type of cannabinoid, and the one that is primarily responsible for the “high” associated with cannabis.

Hemp refers to cannabis that contains 0.3% or less THC. With such a low THC level, it is unlikely to result in a high, which is why the CBD that comes from hemp also produces no high.

Uses For CBD

There are numerous health benefits of CBD.

One significant application of CBD is for childhood epilepsy syndromes, such as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) and Dravet syndrome. These conditions are usually unresponsive to antiseizure medications, but many studies have shown that CBD can reduce the number of seizures and may even stop them completely. Epidiolex is a medication containing CBD and is the first cannabis-derived medicine approved by the FDA.

However, CBD can also produce health benefits for conditions not so medically involved. For instance, clinical trials show that CBD can help reduce anxiety and help with falling and staying asleep. For mental health disorders, in particular, CBD is seen as an appealing treatment option that bypasses the side effects common in pharmaceutical treatments, such as sexual dysfunction, insomnia, and headaches. These medications may also become addicting, whereas CBD does not.

Those with chronic pain may also benefit from CBD, with animal studies showing that topical application of CBD may help with pain and inflammation from arthritis.

Research has also linked CBD with benefits for the heart, such as lower blood pressure, which is associated with a lower risk of heart attack, stroke, and metabolic syndrome.

Side Effects of CBD

CBD has some potential side effects, such as fatigue, nausea, and irritability. Additionally, it may increase the amount of blood thinning and other medicine in the blood, so it is best to talk to your doctor before taking it to ensure you are safe to do so.

Despite these few side effects, the World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that not only does CBD show no addictive qualities, but there has not been any evidence of public health-related problems due to the use of pure CBD.

Navigating Marketing for CBD

CBD is primarily marketed as a supplement, not a medication, so the FDA does not regulate it. With this in mind, it is crucial that you purchase your CBD-containing products from a reputable source, such as H2E Aromatherapy.

With H2E Aromatherapy, you are guaranteed to receive products with CBD (extracted from the hemp plant’s flowers and leaves), not hemp oil (extracted from the seeds). While hemp oil offers benefits, it does not contain cannabinoids, which is what offers the distinct benefits of CBD. If you’re interested in how CBD can help you, check out our online marketplace to find a CBD product that relieves aching muscles, rejuvenates your skin, or offers an improvement in your overall well-being.

Essential oils are compounds extracted from a plant’s buds, flowers, leaves, bark, twigs, roots, wood, bulbs, fruit, rhizomes, seeds, or resin. They capture the plant’s scent and flavor, and some can even offer health benefits because of the smell of the essential oil or from the physical application of the essential oil to the skin.

Essential Oil Uses

Essential oils have many uses, such as improving the scent of a particular room or supplementing healing practices.

They accomplish this second feat because, when inhaled, the scent molecules travel from the olfactory nerve to the brain. From there, they interact with the limbic system, a region of the brain in charge of regulating memories, emotions, and sensations.

Essential oils can also be combined with a carrier oil and placed on the skin, where the body can absorb them into the bloodstream and distribute them throughout the body.

A Note on Marketing

While essential oils have seen heavy marketing recently because of their many benefits, it is important to remember where their true strengths lie. Namely, remember that they cannot cure diseases and are not a magic pill, but they can still be a helpful addition for anyone looking to follow a healthy lifestyle.

For example, essential oils cannot replace surgery or medications such as antibiotics, but they can still relieve unpleasant symptoms, making them an effective tool in your healthcare arsenal.

The Health Benefits of Essential Oils

When it comes to the health benefits of essential oils, they serve less as a treatment for various conditions and instead as a way to boost both your physical and mental health.

For instance, peppermint oil can help relieve headaches, likely from its menthol component, while has analgesic and cooling properties. Research has found that these benefits are at their greatest when the peppermint oil is applied around the head and temple.

Yet another way that essential oils can help your physical health is through nausea relief. Peppermint and ginger are the most effective in this regard, with peppermint, in particular, showing an ability to relax the muscles of your gastrointestinal tract. As for ginger, it helps to encourage the digestive process, keeping food from getting stuck in the gastrointestinal tract. These benefits can help those with nausea from chemotherapy, pregnancy, or indigestion.

Mental health can improve from essential oils, as well, because of their ability to reduce stress and calm anxiety. In fact, this is often the number one reason why someone may seek out aromatherapy. A review found that inhaling or ingesting lavender essential oil or using it in massage treatments can help lower anxiety levels, likely from its linalool and linalyl acetate compounds that have calming properties.

Side Effects of Essential Oils

Even though essential oils are natural, they are not always safe.

Some potential side effects of essential oils include:

–       rashes

–       headaches

–       asthma attacks

–       allergic reactions

To limit side effects, be sure to use them correctly, such as by inhaling them or combining them with a carrier oil before being used on the skin.

Essential oils infuse your living space with pleasant aromas, but they also deliver amazing health benefits. What are essential oils? How are they created? And what are their health benefits? Keep reading to find out.

What are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are the concentrated aromatic essences of plants, seeds, flowers, bark, roots, fruits, wood, and other parts of plants that have been steam distilled or cold-pressed.

They are volatile, meaning that they evaporate easily and will quickly evaporate at room temperature. The essential oil molecules are very small and need to be diluted in a carrier oil before being applied to the skin or evaporated into the atmosphere via a diffuser.

Essential oils contain many different chemical compounds, including terpenes, resins, flavonoids, chlorophyll, phenols, and a variety of other beneficial compounds.

How Essential Oils are Made and Extracted?

Techniques to create essential oils have been around for centuries, with ancient healers accessing the benefits of plants through salves, poultices, and medicinal teas. These were the only forms of medicine available for thousands of years until the pharmaceutical industry came along with other options.

As more people turn to more traditional healing methods, now is as good a time as any to understand where your aromatherapy products come from and how they are created.

Essential oils are extracted from the plant’s aromatic essence, or the oil responsible for the plant’s aroma. Plants use the oil to attract pollinators, repel predators, and inhibit competitive species from growing in the same area. Many essential oils also act as an anti-microbial system to protect the plant from disease.

Glandular structures in the plant produce the oils, which are extracted using steam distillation or cold pressing.

In steam distillation, hot steam pulls the oils from the plant and is forced through a tube where it condenses back into the water. The oils are collected as they separate from the cooling water.

Cold pressing, most often used to produce citrus oils, involves agitating the fruits of the plant with spikes or grating to puncture the oil sacs beneath the surface. The fruit is then pressed to squeeze out the oil and juice before going into a high-speed centrifuge that separates the solids and liquids so the oil can be extracted.

Benefits of Using Essential Oils

Essential oils are often marketed as a cure-all for a wide variety of ailments. However, even the highest quality products are no substitute for medical care. Instead, think of essential oils as an addition to a healthier lifestyle and a way to improve your self-care. Here are just a few of the benefits of essential oils.

Reduce Stress and Anxiety

Phytomedicine published a review [*1] of 90 randomized and nonrandomized studies in 2019 and concluded that inhaling or ingesting lavender oil can lower anxiety levels.

Headache Relief

Headaches are a massive health issue, affecting up to 75% of the population. According to this review [*2], an application of peppermint oil around the head and temple could provide some headache relief. Due to its cooling and analgesic properties, peppermint’s menthol component is believed to be most responsible for headache relief.

Nausea Relief

Peppermint and ginger essential oils are often used for nausea relief and digestive discomfort. Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics published a review [*3] revealing the potential for peppermint to lower nausea-inducing inflammation and relax gastrointestinal muscles.

Other health benefits offered by essential oils include:

  • Easing menstrual cramps
  • Improving sleep quality
  • Antimicrobial effects for disease protection
  • Relief from muscle pain

Using Essential Oils at Home and Business

You can use essential oils at home or at the office for a variety of benefits, from improving productivity to creating a more welcoming, stress-free environment for your customers.

Rosemary – Promotes productivity in the office as it helps to increase concentration and focus.

Bergamot – Boosts the room’s overall mood with its delightful Earl Grey tea scent and makes an excellent environmental cleaning spray.

Lemongrass – A lemongrass-infused office environment will ensure everyone is alert and energized. The aroma is also an excellent insect deterrent, especially against fruit flies and gnats.

Clove – The heady pumpkin spice aroma of clove is peaceful and uplifting, and perfect for promoting good cheer around the holidays.
